Pheasants with tired pointers!

As Fall approaches it can be a tough decision between trout fishing and bird hunting, however we have been guiding pheasant, sharptails, and prairie chicken in South Dakota for years and know the prairies and farm lands intimatly. We guide on private land managed for optimum bird production. This is fair chase bird hunting at its finest. All birds are wild and we only guide small private groups. We also hunt with German Wirehair pointers, AKA Drahtharrs, we are one of the very few outfitters in South Dakota to use exclusivly pointing dogs....of course you are welcome to bring your own dogs as well.
We have mastered guiding the classic bird hunting experience, without the large groups,pen-raised birds, and whackem-and-stackem mentality that rules at most other pheasant hunting operations. Come join us for the perfect upland bird hunting experience.

Sharptails and prairie chickens in the wide open grasslands; If you have never hunted prairie grouse with pointing dogs you have never really bird hunted!

We also offer limited Duck and goose hunting in South Dakota. Prime season for ducks is during the first four weeks of the pheasant season, making a fun add-on morning hunt to your pheasant trip.Non-resident liscenses are limited and must be applied for in June, however as a result hunting pressure is light and waterfowling SUPREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is also spectacular spring snow goose hunting in South Dakota beginning in March and running though April. Limits are very liberal and unplugged shotguns and electronic callers are legal, however this is not a gimmee hunt. Snow geese are very bright and difficult to hunt. Expect anything from mind boggling action to a few well earned birds. However it is always a good time and extends your waterfowl season into Spring!
